Case Study: Cancer Research UK Shine Events
Background:
Over the course of 2010 Projection Advertising and CRUK have
teamed up to promote one of the best causes in Britain. The
Shine night-time walking marathons have raised millions for
important research into cancer treatment. They use "light as
a symbol of hope" - what better medium to use than projection.
The brief:
CRUK wanted to plan an effective PR and advertising campaign to
run in conjunction with their Shine events to raise awareness and
promote the fun and importance of signing up for a night-time
walk.
The solution:
Projection Advertising were able to advise on sites using their
wealth of experience in all major cities across the UK, picking out
the best to target potential night-time walkers.
Then our in-house creative team put together a stunning and informative piece of animated creative for each event, taking in to account the individual sites and message for each activity.
The result:
Happy clients and walkers all round! Our advertising encouraged
thousands to join up for the walks and PR coverage was fantastic,
raising millions for a brilliant cause.
